Born in Pembroke, Ontario, Mark spent his youth skateboarding; snowboarding and exploring the stunning nature of the Ottawa Valley. His love for Photography began in high school where he first learned about lighting, darkroom techniques and film development. He then began shooting his friends skateboarding and snowboarding.

Mark was invited to participate in the 2009 Island Lake Lodge Photo Shoot Out in Fernie B.C; .a contest which spotlights emerging talent in the action sports industry, he took home top honors with best overall portfolio. Lately Mark has been honing his studio skills with product photography as well as producing catalogue shoots for a list of exciting clients.

After graduation his love of travel and the outdoors eventually led him out into the world searching for adventure. For the past fourteen years he has been traveling the world capturing images that offer insight into his experiences.


Mark has settled in Whistler B.C. now and shoots with the world's best athletes. Using his talent for creative composition, texture and natural light, he produces images that have been published across the globe.
