A Million Little Pictures

I took part in a project over the summer called "A Million Little Pictures" where a 1000 artists were given a disposable camera and asked to document their lives. It was fun having the little disposable by my side and deciding which moments I wanted to add to the roll. That's the thing with film, it makes you slow down think about the shot and wether it is worthy of the film or not. Well the little disposable turns out blurry, poorly exposed photos, the moments and memories were all golden.
Carts of Darkness wins a Leo Award

Murray Siple and his crew recently won a Leo Award for their Documentary Carts of Darkness. If you haven't seen the film yet you have been missing out, but thanks to the NFB of Canada you can watch it below.
